@NicholasG28 i have both a mac and a pc ..infact i just finished building my newest pc and my mac is my most expensive computer but its constantly been reliable and will be sure to last me the next 7 years my pc that i just built will last me probably 5 and now that i am much more tech savvy (to the point where im starting up a computer repair shop) my pc has no problems but for the average person who you talk to who is not as tech savvy will be much more likely to run into problems and issues

i used Linux for a while. Believe me, not all problems are solved in 3 minutes. Mac is not horrible in general, try use it before talking. Windows is the best suited for everything, but mostly users are stupid and they blame OS for being infected with a virus when they downloaded it themselves.
Well you might be …
Well you might be right about mac seriveces.. windows is horrible for that.. But mac is horrible in general! also linux.. has a much better suport in forums then u think.. when i face problems and post them up in a forum.. 5mins later.. i get like 3 replys.. boom problem solved..

You are so right …
You are so right about that Linux support… If Canonical would make Ubuntu commercial, people would start to give a about it, and perhaps companies would start making software for it. Linux is really ignored by people. The fact about the Mac users is the Apple respects their clients, they give them a good, fast OS with all the software they need on it. And Windows… well, i cant live without it unless i get a Mac, i need my software.
Fine take your …
Fine take your Playschool like computer that “just works”(like a simple flashlight” and have fun. A mac is like owning a slightly more advanced light-bright. I’ll be over with the PC’s who are more than 16 years of age.

I’m saying it’s better because there is more freedom, more services and more of a challenge therefore more fun. Apple inc. Think Different, just like every other sheep out there.

“Free software is a …
“Free software is a matter of liberty, not price. To understand the concept, you should think of ‘free speech’, not ‘free beer’.” – Richard Stallman
if you pay for your linux-os (e.g. Redhat for companies or Suse for personal use) you get professional support for free, thats the point… you can get the OS + good support (depending on the distribution you choose) and figure out problems by yourself… i dont want to end up lost in technique like some of our parents and grandparents…
I guess some people …
I guess some people just don’t know how to search properly, because I’ve always been able to find an answer to a problem I might run into with OSX, Kubuntu, Ubuntu, or any of Windows bastardizations. Plus, friends have their input. Google will find anything.

Entertaining to watch. That being said the people at Apple Care are definitely no experts, atleast not the ones i have spoken to one the phone. I mentioned that i can’t run Windows XP through bootcamp and use my 9400m videocard in my Macbook Pro which leads to much less battery time. I don’t know if this is the same if i were to run Linux or Win-7 through bootcamp; although it’s very annoying that i can’t switch the videocards before getting into bootcamp or even change it while being in there.
