4GB RAM Upgrade Kit From Crucial:
Description: 4GB kit (2GBx2), 204-pin SODIMM Upgrade for a Apple MacBook Pro 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo (13-inch DDR3) MB990LL/A Mid-2009 System.
Any 2.5″ SATA HDD making sure that it is not greater than 9.5mm thick.

For your reference I used the 4GB RAM Upgrade Kit from Crucial, and a spare 320GB Seagate Momentus 5400rpm HDD.
The HDD will be used as a temporary solution until I install a 7200rpm 500GB Seagate drive.

@moneyboi50 Nope, at least not easily, and it’d be a bit of a pointless task anyway imo. As far as I know, they’re soldered into the socket like on the vast majority of laptops. Plus you’d also have to upgrade the cooling system if you put in a better CPU, so unless you really know what you’re doing and have the money to risk bricking your machine I wouldn’t bother. If you have an old laptop lying around and can get a better CPU that fits in the same socket for pretty chea then practice!

@forthewolf325 They do actually make 1TB 2.5″ HHD’s, they’re just rather new and expensive so there aren’t many on the market yet. Give it 6 months so so and they’ll be fairly common and we’ll likely have 1.5TB drives too.
