			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong><i>Question by Yuu</i>: WoW Error: &#8220;The Blizzard launcher must be in the same folder as a Blizzard game.&#8221; Help!?</strong><br />
I am installing a 10-day free trial of World of Warcraft.  I followed the directions and was directed to a webpage to download the trial client.  After it installed however, I tried to open the WoW shortcut and this error message occurs:</p>
<p>&#8220;The Blizzard launcher must be in the same folder as a Blizzard game.&#8221;</p>
<p>I did not move anything, so I don&#8217;t understand why any files should be out of place.  The only explanation I found on google was that the user must have moved something and to put it back &#8211; but I DID NOT move anything!!!  I was away from my computer while it downloaded.</p>
<p>In the folder Program Files > World of Warcraft Trial there are only two programs: </p>
<p>1. Launcher.exe &#8211; gives error message: &#8220;The Blizzard launcher must be in the same folder as a Blizzard game.&#8221;</p>
<p>2. BNUpdate.exe &#8211; gives error message: &#8221; The file &#8220;C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft Trial\..\Data\interface.MPQ&#8221; could not be opened. If this problem persists, you may be able to solve it by uninstalling and then reinstalling the game. If you are unable to correct this problem, please contact Blizzard Technical Support.&#8221;</p>
<p>Can you help me, please?!?  The download took over an hour so I would rather not just uninstall/reinstall if it&#8217;s just going to install everything incorrectly again.  I&#8217;m using Windows XP if that helps.  Thanks in advance.</p>
