Question by Ty: Dynex TV, “Mode not supported” message?
I can’t seem to get my TV to respond to any inputs. It is a 26″ LCD.
I have tried connecting a DVD player, a Blu-ray player, and a laptop using VGA, HDMI, Component, and standard video cables and either it doesn’t recognize the signal or I see the message “Mode Not Supported”.
I have used this TV before with no issues with all three devices and using all inputs. It hasn’t been moved recently.

Dynex tvs are an accident waiting to happen. You can try unplugging it for a few hours and replugging and see if it reboots itself and works again. But, it probably needs repair, so if you still have a warranty, call the company and get someone to fix it if the unplugging doesn’t help.

i have been trying to jailbreak my iPhone 4s and i downloaded a thing that was from greenpois0n.com and it comes up but my phone wont sync to it.. when it tells me to plug it in i do, then it says “sorry, the attached device is not supported.”

the firmware your on is more than likely whats not supported. if your on 5.1 then thats probably why. I think that you can use the newest version of redsn0w but its only a tethered jailbreak(assuming you are indeed on iOS 5.1)

Yes, I know that this is a very common question, and yes, I have google’d, yahoo’d and bing’d everything but I did not find a solution that helps.

So, I have two routers, at two different places (divorced parents), but with the same ISP (do not put too much into this, as I have on several occasions spoken with their tech “support” about the issue, and they have elegantly pushed the responsibility over on me). The one being a Jensen AirLink 59300 and the other a Belkin54g.

The issue is that every now and then they both “space out”. This is the best way of describing the somewhat weird behavior. You could also say disconnect, but i feel that might not be entirely correct, as the router is still broadcasting. When said outspacing occurs, I loose all connection to the internet (except for programs like Skype, Steam, etc. on the Belkin router).

This happens on every computer and device in the entire household, and that would be computers, an Xbox 360, a PS3, an iPhone and an HTC.

When the issue occurs, Windows gives me all that “limited access” bullcrap and that small, yellow, mischievous warning sign starts taunting me.

Everything is temporarily fixed when I restart the router, and there is no problems when I use an ethernet cable directly from the modem.

I see this kind of thing a lot. Basically it looks like the modem cant handle the connection. What you need unfortunately is a lower speed. the only other option is getting a newer modem but that might only be a temporary fix.

First of all, I want to go back to listening to music. Get an external hard drive. Http :/ / tinyurl.com/67o6w7 and copy all your music (be it in the folder “My Music”) After that, I want to uninstall Itunes. Restart. Re-install Itunes and restarted again. That should do the trick.

I’m in borderline tears right now because I’m so frustrated.

I jailbreaked my iPod just now (so I could install some .ipa apps manually) and it worked perfectly!
But now iTunes is giving me a fit.

It won’t let me sync. It won’t even read my iPod when I plug it in. I have to restart the whole “Apple Mobile Device Support” thing just to get it to recognize it. And when iTunes recognizes that, it comes up with an error that says:

“iTunes cannot sync the iPod. The disk could not be found”.

or something along those lines. I can’t put music on there, apps, photos or anything.
UGH.
Can someone PLEASE help me out here? I’ve been looking for answers for the past 2 hours, I’m going crazy.
My computer doesn’t even recognize the ipod! And I think that’s the problem…but I still have no idea, UGH.
